Classic Body Restoration

Restoration-Level Body Rebuilds for Classic Vehicles

Body restoration at Restoration Sector focuses on rebuilding vehicle bodies correctly, from the metal outward. This service is intended for classic and vintage vehicles undergoing restoration, where long-term structural integrity matters more than cosmetic appearance alone.

We do not perform collision repairs, insurance work, or cosmetic refreshes. Our body restoration work is for vehicles being preserved, rebuilt, or returned to proper condition.

What Classic Body Restoration Involves

Body restoration is not a single step—it is a process.

Depending on the condition of the vehicle, body restoration may include:

  • Complete body disassembly

  • Removal of paint, coatings, and previous repairs

  • Identification of corrosion, damage, or improper prior work

  • Structural repair and metal reconstruction

  • Panel correction, alignment, and refitting

Each vehicle is evaluated individually. No two restoration projects follow the exact same path.

Addressing the Body at Its Foundation

Many issues affecting classic vehicles are hidden beneath paint, filler, or previous repairs. Body restoration begins by exposing the true condition of the metal so problems can be corrected properly.

If rust or compromised metal is found, affected areas are removed and repaired before body refinement begins. This approach prevents corrosion from returning and ensures the body is structurally sound before finishing.

Restoration Before Refinement

Body restoration precedes body work and paint. Panels must be straight, aligned, and secure before any surface finishing is performed.

Our approach prioritizes:

  • Correct structure over appearance

  • Proper sequencing of metal, body, and paint work

  • Durability over speed

This ensures the restoration holds up long after the project is complete.

Transparent Process & Documentation

Throughout the restoration process, work is documented with before, during, and after photographs of major repair areas. Customers are kept informed as the project progresses so scope and expectations remain clear.

Clear communication is part of how we work.
